Here at Jellymud we are always looking at the bigger picture and understand that just by making clothes responsibly isn’t going to put a stop to climate change. Therefore, we ensure that a percentage of our profits go towards larger initiatives and charities so they can continue the amazing work they do. If there is an organisation close to your heart let us know and maybe we can support them as well. Our Story

The great outdoors is our playground and we want it to stay that way. Our ambition is to create technical, durable clothing that doesn’t impact the environment. Usually you have to compromise but as we have shown you can have your cake and eat it. Yay. We have engineered our production to be as close as possible to the source of our materials to minimise our carbon footprint but it also means we can deliver you incredible value for money. How we do it

We have put a lot of effort into finding suppliers that share the same mission as us and are committed to upholding the same high standards we set for ourselves. To be honest we thought about just lowering our standards but then we took a long hard look at ourselves in the mirror and said our children wouldn’t thank us. We made it our mission to find those elusive partners who had the expertise to help us bring Jellymud to life. Sustainability
Finding the perfect match
Our suppliers
We only work with suppliers who share our values
Our search took us far and wide to find the right partners who are passionate about making quality products, use processes that have little to no impact on the planet and looks after its employees. Lots of different skills and many hands are needed to make our products, so that's why it's important our clothes last a long time and don't end up in the bin after a couple of wears.

Bamboo collection
Made to the highest ethical and environmental standards
Our bamboo t-shirts and sweats are made in an independently owned factory in Turkey who are leading the way in sustainable textile manufacture. Certified organic or sustainably sourced fibres are predominantly used in their production and 60% of their electricity is generated through solar panels. As well as this, the team regularly plant saplings with an aim to be completely carbon neutral in the near future.

Passionate about protecting women’s labour and rights in the clothing industry, the factory is also a member of the WEP program with the UN.

Waterproof collection
Utilisng the latest technology

We spent a long time researching the best place to create our waterproofs as we had many requirements and needed to find a partner who not only had the technical capabilities to produce our complex designs but also one that made more sustainable choices.

We found a fabric mill in Taiwan who was able to create the awesome technical fabric to our specifications but could also do it using recycled plastic bottles, solving two issues in one go. Our Mudtex® material has the highest waterproof and breathability ratings.

Once the fabric is finished it's passed on to our factory in China who have the expertise in producing highly technical garments, unfortunately we lack the end to end recycling and technologies in the UK. Unlike other brands, we order in small volumes and only produce what is necessary. We work on the basis you will be happy to wait a few weeks for the best and only jacket you will ever need.

Created with longevity in mind
We want our products to last, not only for you to get the most out of your purchase but also to keep clothing out of landfill. We are passionate about every single sale and giving you quality clothes that will last and last. Maybe we are doing ourselves out of repeat business but we hope that if you like what we are doing you will help spread the word!
Did you know?

An estimated 92 million tonnes of textile waste is created each year globally. This is the equivalent to a rubbish truck of clothes ending up on landfill sites every second. By 2030, we are expected to be discarding more than 134 million tonnes of textiles a year.

We want you to fall in love with our products and get the most out of them. But with all those adventures you’ll be having, there will no doubt be a few battle scars along the way. The most responsible thing you can do as a consumer is to repair those items which is why we will happily support you in looking after it. Nothing is indestructible and when your Jellymud goods can no longer be repaired, we ask you to return it to us so it can be recycled and made into something new.
